CLAROSCURO
CLAROSCURO is a new art gallery open to all forms of artistic expression, with a special emphasis on photography, as there aren't many spaces in the city that accommodate this type of work.
The gallery was born from the desire to gather and showcase pieces that express and communicate different emotions between the public and the artists, creating a dialogue where space, light, and shadow play a significant role.
Located in Roma Norte, the gallery offers two spaces: one indoors and one outdoors. Here, paintings, sculptures, photography, installations, design, and performance art will coexist with talks, lectures, book presentations, and gastronomy events.
The opening will take place on Thursday, September 5th, featuring two exhibitions: Reborn in Lunar Space by Mexican photographer Pepe Castillo Borja and A Dynamic System Called Universe by Mexican sculptor and industrial designer Héctor Alvarado Arias.
CLAROSCURO is the brainchild of Jeannette Arévalo Angus, a visual artist born in Mexico City and raised in La Paz, Bolivia, where she studied graphic design and communication, specializing in photography and drawing.
Her work has spanned the fields of visual arts, photographic productions, and image consulting, collaborating on projects with publishers, fashion designers, various brands, and television.
The gallery is located at 142 Frontera Street, on the corner of Guanajuato Street, in Roma Norte. It will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
